Free Deck Tour on Kalmar Nyckel, the Tall Ship of Delaware

Hop aboard the Kalmar Nyckel to discover the remarkable story behind this full-scale replica of the 1638 Swedish merchant ship.

Kalmar Nyckel, The Tall Ship of Delaware, returns to the shores of the York River and will be offering free deck tours Tuesday, June 13 from 2–5 p.m. and Thursday, June 15 from 9 a.m.–12 p.m.

Discover the remarkable story behind this full-scale replica of the 1638 Swedish merchant ship that started the Colony of New Sweden in present-day Delaware.

The crew is also offering day sails Thursday, June 15 through Saturday, June 17. Tickets are $65 per adult and $40 per child 12 & younger and are available for purchase online or by calling 302.429.7447. Advance reservations are highly recommended. Sails depart from Riverwalk Landing Piers.
