In recognition of Women’s History Month, join songstress Deborah Soderholm as she brings the Women’s Suffrage movement alive through the words and music of the people that lived it. The movement spanned over 70 years and included various styles of songs to promote the cause of women’s right to vote, culminating with the 19th Amendment. These songs were rarely recorded until long after their cause was won and have never been heard, until now. This program is not just a concert, it is an interactive musical show with narratives woven through and includes props, costuming, and audience participation.
