There is no better way to experience Historic Yorktown than taking a stroll with a professional historian! Tour guides Maureen Wiese and J. Michael Moore will provide interesting information and insights not typically found in history books.
Take a walk through Yorktown’s many layers of history as you learn about the establishment of
the tobacco port, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the twentieth-century patriotic
celebrations of the British surrender.
Meet at Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters and Petite Café to start.
Must be able to walk on uneven terrain for an hour.
Must wear appropriate shoes and dress for the weather.
