Yoga Overlooking the York River
Monday, September 6, 2021
Namastè! Enjoy a rejuvenating evening of yoga in a beautiful setting on the first and third Monday of each month.
Bring your mat and meet at the Carriage House (located at the back of the small parking lot, with a deck looking out over the York River). Classes are beginner-friendly with modification suggestions. Blocks are available, but bring your own mat. For virtual yoga, email Jill for a Zoom link. Proceeds go to the Watermen's Museum. Tonight's class is Slow Strength: the practice will focus on slowing down and integrating.
About the instructor: Jill Winkowski received her RYT 200-hour yoga teaching certificate in 2016 after studying at Studio South in Williamsburg. She practices at a number of local yoga studios, and her approach is to integrate breath practice with traditional yoga asanas (poses) for a centering, rejuvenating hour-long practice.
Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic—all York County sponsored and partner community events are subject to postponement or cancellation. This includes changes to dates, times, and locations.
