10:00 AM         Veterans Day Ceremony / Placing flags on veterans' graves

12:00 PM        Annual Veterans Day Memorial Program
                        York Hall, 301 Main Street

"Stories From the Monument"
Listen to the stories of those honored veterans whose names will be added to the York County War Memorial on the lawn of York Hall. The program also includes presentation of the colors, singing of the National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, and "Taps."

Be a part of the audience as Shades of Our Past historical interpreters present a World War II Armistice Day Radio Broadcast for our boys and girls overseas. Join us as we salute the women and men who fight for our freedom ~ past, present, and future.  

Immediately following the radio program, all are welcome to participate in a Flag Ceremony to commemorate the sacrifices of our soldiers and citizens during World War I and World War II. Held on the event lawn in front of the museum. 

Veterans and active duty military personnel are especially encouraged to attend. Escorts will be available to aid those needing assistance with seating.
