October Brings Pumpkins, Hayrides, Patriotism, and even a Halloween Pet Parade to Yorktown!

Yes, yes, yes! October has officially arrived and the temperatures should finally start to align with the calendar. (That means the social media team can stop hesitating to use #itsfallyall when it's clearly still #summervibes at Yorktown Beach.) And as the leaves start to change and the humidity prepares to exit stage left—the Tourism Office is gearing up for another autumn packed full of fun for you and your family.

Not only is this the first year we've had three back-to-back themed markets in October—but we're also launching some new and exciting activities like a Halloween Pet Costume Contest and Parade! What to Do

You'll find guides on Segways and tours on the Battlefield. There are museums, waterfront restaurants, and a public beach. Getting here is the easy part. The hard part is deciding what to do first!
