Explore Everything Yorktown Has to Offer by Trolley!

Visit Museums, Restaurants, Galleries & More!

Park your car and let us do the driving! The Yorktown Trolley is one of the best ways to see Historic Yorktown. It alleviates the hassle of finding parking close to the waterfront, especially during peak tourist season and during special events. Our drivers will give helpful information about each stop so you can focus on the scenery, the history, and where you want to have your next meal.

This FREE air-conditioned (and heated) service will take you from the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center all the way to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, making several convenient stops along the way including Yorktown Beach and Riverwalk Landing. Each trolley is ADA accessible.

Trolley History

Since its first trip through the historic area in 1999, ridership has increased from approximately 13,000 annual passengers to an estimated 95,000 passengers every year!

"Nostalgia is absolutely a part of the attraction. We have individuals who experienced the trolley experience when they were younger and are now bringing their children to have that same connection to Yorktown. These are memories that will last a lifetime, and we are proud to be a part of those memories." – Darren Williams/Operations Supervisor
