Art at the River collage of juried art

Due to this unprecedented global pandemic surrounding COVID-19, for the first time since its inception, Yorktown’s Art at the River Juried Art Show will not take place Sunday, May 3 as initially scheduled.This was a difficult but necessary decision to promote public health and safety.

Art at the River will return to Riverwalk Landing in Historic Yorktown on Sunday, May 2, 2021 for the eighth annual juried art show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stay tuned for details on how you can apply!

The show features the works of more than 30 area artists, in a variety of media including painting, pottery, jewelry, glass arts, photography, woodwork, basketry, and more. Enjoy live music and an array of local artists on the beautiful riverfront.  The event is free and open to the public with food and drink available for purchase.

The event is presented by the Art at the River Committee in conjunction with York County and the Yorktown Foundation, with support from the Celebrate Yorktown Committee, the Economic Development Authority and the York County and Williamsburg Area Arts Commissions.
