An array of artists brought a touch of creative flair to the Historic Yorktown waterfront on Sunday, May 2, at the Eighth Annual Art at the River Juried Art Show. Guests strolled down the Riverwalk to marvel at the incredible, one-of-a-kind pieces on display—everything from paintings, pottery, jewelry, glass arts, photography, woodwork, basketry and much more!
This year's exhibition included the work of 43 captivating regional and local artists, carefully selected to participate in this popular event. Jeanne Eickhoff and Susan Branch Smith judged the entries and awarded Juried Art Show prizes valued at more than $3,000 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in 2-D, 3-D and photography, as well as Honorable Mentions. The highly coveted Susan H. Powell Best in Show Award was presented in memory of the founder of the Art at the River Juried Art Show and attendees voted for the People's Choice Award.
Mark your calendars for next year's Art at the River Juried Art Show on Sunday, May 8, 2022!
