  • Metal detecting is permitted on the sand of Yorktown Beach provided that there is no disturbance of vegetated dunes

Between Watermen’s Museum and American Revolution Museum - across from Mathews Street
  • Dogs are permitted on a leash
  • Tents are permitted (but not overnight)
  • No alcohol
  • No metal detecting
  • No fishing from rocks
  • No charcoal grills or open fires (gas grills permitted)
  • No wedding ceremonies permitted

Beach Picnic Area
